The Adult Team is in need of sponsors.  If you are interested in becoming a sponsor for the Adult Team please visit the sponsorship page.

 

There will be an Adult Team Competition held this year. It will be held at the HITS Showground (formerly Commonwealth Park) in Culpeper, VA the weekend of August 2-3, 2008. WPDA would like to send as many teams as we can to this fun competition. If you are at all interested, I urge you to fill out the Adult Team Application and send it to me ASAP.

 

TEAM BENEFITS  

 

Joining the Adult team gives you the opportunity to ride dressage in a different type of competition working as a team instead of an individual.   Also, it gives the Adults a chance to meet new people and to travel to a show that they normally wouldn't get to go to. 

 

 

TEAM     REQUIREMENTS

The requirements are 4 scores at or above the level you wish to compete from either WPDA Sanctioned Schooling Shows or any USDF/USEF Recognized Shows. Qualifying dates are from Oct 1, 2006 to July 1, 2008. Levels will be offered at Intro through FEI as well as Musical Freestyle.

Professionals as well as amateurs are welcome. WPDA will help pay entry fees for all team members (excluding MFS class). Riders will be responsible for transportation and stabling costs unless we can raise enough money to cover some or all of those expenses. The earlier we start fundraising the more expenses we can cover.

The official prize list will not be available until April 1, 2008 so some qualifications might be changed to meet the Show Management’s requirements.  The Adult Team Committee will determine team composition.
